There are breakpoints in the history, the result of a single event may change the whole course... In 1909, an assassination attempt of a Japanese governor fails - the assassin was shot by a soldier. Now, in 2009, Korea is just another state of the Japan Empire and Seoul has become a major city. A Korean resistance group called Hureisenjin is formed to fight for liberty and independence. Two cops, a Japanese and a Korean (who denies his heritage) are investigating the actions of this "terrorist" group. And their work lead them to an artifact of the ancient Korean religion of "Sun and Moon".

Review :
Not just an action movie
To say this is just a great film doesn't really do it or those involved justice. A great police drama with a sci-fi twist and great amount touch of heart and patriotism. Not being familiar with any of the cast or crew involved or the overall history of Korea, I was surprised how much this movie touched me. Great action as in most Asian films. The cast did an amazing job, not least of which was the young boy...I was truly moved. Looking forward to seeing more from this director and cast. I got a real sense of the patriotism the filmmakers wove into what could have been a standard action movie. I will definitely recommend this movie to everyone I know.
